Faria Beach Vacation Packages

There were absolutely no working ice machines on any floor of the hotel. In order to get ice, you needed to take your ice bucket down to the restaurant and have them fill it. The vending machine on our floor didn't work as well since it was unplugged along with the ice machine next to it. The front desk said that the ice machines were being replaced soon. Just inconvenient to have to go all the way down from your room to the kitchen to get ice. Would have been nice if the front desk had given us a heads up when we checked in. There was a Glitter and Gala event happening on the Saturday we were there. Although there are 3 elevators, only one was available for hotel guests. One was not working and the other was exclusively for Gala patrons only. It was quite crowded with hotel guests needing to get up to their rooms. We waited almost 15 minutes for an elevator. Although the "Gala Patrons Only" elevator was empty, the gentleman standing guard would not let us use it. I don't understand why. Our room only had one bathrobe in the closet. I had requested another one but it never arrived. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Food and service at both restaurants was excellent. There are quite a few handicapped parking spaces available but you need to pay the $21 valet fee daily even if you self park. Location is great - right on the beach.
